Research Scientists / Senior Research Scientists

DISCIPLINE : ELECTRONICS

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : M.E. / M.Tech / B. Tech /B.E / M.Sc. or equivalent with Minimum 55% Marks in ELECTRONICS / ELETRONICS & TELE-COMMUNICATION /INSTRUMANTATION /RF/μwave/ radar Engineering
2. EXPERINCE NOS. OF YEARS : One to three years of experience Those who have appeared for their final year exams may also apply.
3. EXPERINCE IN THE AREA OF  : Digital electronics design/ Signal processing /Embedded system hardware, software development/Simulation using MATLAB and DSP development tools. LABVIEW/FPGA logics design /Micro controller, PLC programming /knowledge of VHDL for embedded logic. Knowledge of Xilinx ISE, Model Sim tools usage for HDL synthesis and simulation OR
4. RF / Microwave systems design and development Knowledge in radar engineering, experience in HFSS/IE3D/ADS software for RF circuit design & simulation; conversant with RF measurements and handling of equipment like VNA, spectrum analyzer etc.

DISCIPLINE : ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCE

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFIACTION : M. Tech in Atmospheric / Space science with desirable background in BE/B. Tech in Electronics/EXTC or M. Sc. in Physics
2. EXPERIENCE NOS.OF YEARS Fresh/ one / two years experience
3. EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA OF Weather Radar Data or Analysis & Processing

DISCIPLINE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION M.E / M. Tech / B. Tech / B.E. with Minimum 55% Marks in Mechanical Engineering

DISCIPLINE COMPUTER SCIENCE

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION M.E / M. Tech / B. Tech / B.E. with Minimum 55% Marks in Computer Engineering / Information Technology

3. EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA OF Design & Development of software in scientific Data Processing; Digital Image & Digital Signal processing, Radar Data Processing software ; Medical Data Processing, GUI development using VB, Lab View, concept of RS-232, MODBUS-RTU.

DISCIPLINE PHOTONICS

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION M.E / M. Tech / B. Tech / B.E. M Sc with Minimum 55% Marks in Electronics /Electronics & Communication / Physics /Opto-electronics / photonics/ with minimum 55% Marks
2. EXPERIENCE NOS.OF YEARS Minimum 4 to 5 Years
3. EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA OF Clean Room Process;
   Design and simulation of Optical/ Fiber Optic devices; Knowledge of Opti-BPM / RSoft & Matlab / Lab view software is essential.
   Experience in photon device Packaging or reliability testing will be added advantage.

DISCIPLINE RADIOLOGICAL PHYSICS

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION  M.Sc. and Diploma in Radiological Physics with Minimum 55% Marks
2. EXPERIENCE NOS.OF YEARS Fresh/ 1 years in QA/QC of medical Linac system as per AERB guidelines
3. RENUMERATION Research Scientist (No of Years of Experience:0/1/2) : Rs. 20500 to Rs. 24500 PM Research Scientist- Radiological Physics: Rs. 40000 PM Senior Research Scientist (No of years of Experience: 3 to 5): Rs.27500 to Rs.35000 PM
4. Age Limits 30 Years for fresh candidates 35 Years for experienced and candidates

Project Assistants

DISCIPLINE ELECTRONICS & MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
2. Engineering Diploma in Electronics/ Instrumentation /Electrical/Radio Engineering (3 Years) Mechanical Engineering OR Bachelor in Science with major in physics
   Project Assistant A: Fresh
   Project Assistant B: Minimum three years relevant experience
   Project Assistant C: Minimum six years relevant experience
3. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE IN EMI / EMC Measurements Electronics system development and testing Handling Clean room equipment /optical test & measurement equipment / Thin film deposition system / Plasma enhanced Chemical deposition system/ Knowledge 0 Auto cad/ Solid works is desirable
4. RENUMERATIONProject Assistant A: Rs 11000 to Rs 13800 PM
   Project Assistant B: Rs 15000 to Rs 18200 PM
   Project Assistant C: Rs 17500 to Rs 21100 PM
5. Age Limit:
   30 Years for fresh candidates
   35 Years for experienced and candidates

General Instructions:

1. The fresh candidates who have appeared for their Final year exams conducted in May/ June 2013, the marks up to previous semester would be considered for written test and interview. However, the fresh candidate will be allowed to join only after submission of their final mark list with aggregate marks more than 55%.
2. The candidates having relevant experience only would be considered for higher start pay.

   b) Project Assistants : 1st July 2013
4. Willing candidate should appear for written test and interview on the date mentioned above with duly filled in application form at the above address at 9.00 am which can be downloaded from the website www.sameer.gov.in. The application form should not be sent by post. Applicants must produce completed application forms in all respects supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, mark sheets, experience, a passport size photograph and NOC from employer if working in Government departments, public sectors, autonomous organizations and Government funded research agencies.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:-

1. The above posts carry consolidated pay and appointment will be purely on contract basis.
2. The contract appointment shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption in the post .
3. The persons selected for contract appointment will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract.
4. Candidates have to appear for a written objective type of contract.
5. NOC from employer if working in Government departments, public sectors, autonomous organizations and Government funded research agencies.
6. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing for the written test/interview.
7. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification for the post.
8. No interim queries will be entertained.
