U.P. Secondary Education Service Selection Board

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board has published the official recruitment notification for the appointments of Trained Graduate Teachers (6028) and Lecturer (1117) in the academic year 2014-2015.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) Eligibility:

Having B.Ed, L.T., V.T., with graduation in Urdu, Agriculture, Commerce, Sanskrit, Hindi, Mathematics, English, Social Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Arts, History, Civics, Social Science, Home Science etc. is necessary for the submission of application form. 

Lecturer Eligibility:

Applying for this post, applicant should be Post Graduate or its equivalent from any recognized University or Board in the following disciplines: MA, BA, M.Sc., B.Sc., M.Com, etc. These posts do not require recruiting trained personnel.  

Selection Procedure:

The educational eligibility for the above mentioned posts will be held well from the date of application submission. As per, the guidelines notified in Recruitment & Selection Board Rules, written examination, special eligibility and interviews will be organized for final selection.

Marks Division (Weightage):

1.    On written examination – 85%

2.    Interviews – 10%

3.    Special Educational Eligibility – 5%

4.    Ph.D./D. Fil/M.Ed. – 2%   

5.    B.Ed. – 2% 

How to Apply:

UPSESSB Application Form 2014 should be sent in the prescribed format along with the necessary documents with self addressed envelope by registered post only. UPSESSB Application Form can be obtained from the employment news or through official website. 

UPSESSB Application Fee:

1.    For General/OBC – Rs. 430/- 

2.    For SC – Rs. 230/-  

3.    For ST – Rs. 130/- 

A demand Draft of SBI, PNB, India Bank, Union Bank of India, Allahabad Bank and Bank of Baroda will be acceptable. It must be drawn in favour of “Sachiv, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Chayan Board”, payable at Allahabad.
