Invites Online Applications for Recruitment to the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) / Postman Job Vacancies in North Eastern Circle : 

• Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) – 748 in various North Eastern Post Office.

Selection Process: The Selection will be made as per the Automatic Generated Merit List based on the candidates submitted details in Online Application Form. There is No Written Exam and Interview. The selection purely on Merit list based, Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. The selected candidates will be required to residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection of GDS but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster. 

Application Fee : For General and OBC Category Male Candidates are required to pay ₹ 100/- at any Head Post Office. For making this payment, the candidates should inform Registration Number at the Post Office Counter. There is no fee for SC / ST Category and All Women Candidates. 

How to Apply : Eligible Interested Candidates should be fill Online Application Form through India Post (AP Post GDS) Portal. The last date for submission of online applications is 24/05/2017 . There is no offline application format.
